The upgraded version offers two different ways to control the lights - the included remote and the "illumi home" app, available on both iOS App Store and Google Play. Simply search for "illumi home" to find and download the app.

The LED units feature pure 5050 RGB 3 primary colors, making it the brightest LED strip ever on Amazon! (Note: no pure white, but the mixed white is much whiter than the previous generation, without the gradient chasing effect that syncs with TV screen pictures.)

There are two controlling methods to choose from - IR Remote and Phone App "illumi home", available on Google Play and iOS App Store. An extra IR remote is also included. Ensure the IR receiver is not obstructed when controlling the LED lights with the remote.

The 24-key remote offers 16 color choices and 8-degree brightness adjustment. Additionally, there are dynamic color-changing modes such as smooth, fade, strobe, and flash.

The mobile app allows you to access a color wheel with 16 million color choices, adjust brightness, customize colors, and explore multiple color-changing modes. Simply scan the QR code or search for "illumi home" on the Apple Store or Google Play to download and install.

To set up, first check if the product is working properly. Clean and dry the installation place, and the flexible connecting cords make the strip easy to bend at corners. The lights only work with a TV USB port 5V/1A, phone charger, or power bank with a 5V/1A output. The mobile app unlocks all the features of the light strip.
